October 30, 2008 György Faludy Poetry Theatre With Hungarian Actor Miklós Turek Hungarian Actor Miklós Turek presented an 80-minute one-man theatre play titled "Around the World with the Rhymes of György Faludy" on the life and works of Hungarian Poet György Faludy (1910-2006) in the Grand Hall of the Embassy on Tuesday, October 28. The actor is currently on a 6-week North American tour, which will end on Friday in New York's famous Hungarian Fészek Club. Apart from the adventorous Faludy-play, he also performs a similar, but more sorrowful Miklós Radnóti-piece and a darker Attila József-play. His stage work is juxtaposed by the elaborate engravings by Hungarian graphic artist Kornél Nágel, which were inspired by the poems of Faludy.
